yes it is, the jets would be stupid not to sign him, his better than all your backup CB, and he can also play as a rb/lb.......

Daniel Piorkowski at Jets training. Brilliant news. I think he will be an excellent addition to the squad. If Covic and North don't come back in time, the keeper and two central defenders might be Kennedy, Kanta and Kowski. The Ks have it for the Kaze.

I can see our No 1 line-up now:

    ----------------------------Covic------------------------------

    Elrich------------North----------------Kowski-------------Matty

    ------------Grifflet------------------------Holland--------------

    Song-----------------------Hawko--------------------------Kaz

    -----------------------------Joel------------------------------

    Bench:
    Kennedy
    Zura
    D'Apuzzo
    Kanta

    Superb!

good stuff..this should give the boys a much needed morale boost (well all except Antun I guess) and Beau Busch is supposed to be the real deal too, so things are starting to come together..when Ontong gets fit we will have that tantalizing final piece of the puzzle.

we hear that everybody is the real deal when they join us, only to find out a few weeks later that they aren't that great.

also, let's not forget that he hasn't actually signed with us yet.

(i've got my pessimistic hat on today)

the fact jade has not gone, will make it harder to convince con to sign Piro

His entire two year's worth of wages.

So ~$100k, that would all come out of the cap.

Not necessarily correct, I'm sure they could just threaten to leave him rotting on the bench for two years unless he takes less and agrees to terminate the contract.

Don't put the cart before the horse again fellas. They may have no intention of signing this guy.
