Is there a third youth player? I watched them once weeks ago and saw an attacking midfielder a smallish kid, it could be Nunes, not sure.

Oscar Fryer to be announced at 6pm

Midfielder from Sydney FC NPL/Youth, glad to see Stanton getting all of his rejected Sydney FC kids back together.

I would like to issue a challenge to the Jets - to sign a player not represented by Football House Plus

We've signed this dude on for 2 years. Bit embarrassing to make a whole ass promo video for a signing this insignificant.

I don't think Stanton gets the low budget youth thingy, too many years at smurftown

    Jesus Christ.

At least we've found the person who celebrated the Mario Jardel signing.

Come on ya telling me a 30 second promo video for a sydney youth signing isn't a little much? I'm not saying we need to be signing superstars, and I'm all for building a little hype before a signing, but this felt like overkill

Pro this signing, lot of potential with Bayliss.

Feel like we're missing 3 big signings (CDM, CAM, Winger/Striker) to tie the rest of this team together. My only other hope would be to get rid of Ingham for a better RB but that feels more like wishful thinking then something realistic.

Sydney fc can't fit all their young players in, I'm happy that we are taking a few on. He gave Clayton Taylor an opportunity last year and he turned out to be a revelation.

Another former youth player Ben Gibson is killing it this year for Apia. Has scored 15 goals, can play anywhere across the front. Thought Stanton might have brought him across too.

    ## Alex Nunes - 25/26

    Offered Contracts
    17 Kosta Grozos

    Confirmed/Expected Outgoing Players
03 Jason Hoffman - Jets Back Office
05 Lucas Mauragis - Central Coast
    06 Brandon O'Neill - Perth
    07 Trent Buhagiar - Unknown
    10 Reno Piscopo - Victory
    15 Jason Berthomier - Unknown
    18 Daniel Stynes - Unknown
20 Michael Weier - Hume City *TBC
    25 Carl Jenkinson - Unknown
    26 Archie Goodwin - Adelaide
I still have Kosta Grozos and Justin Vidic as the two players from last year's squad to have an announcement made about them. I see you have him down as a 24/25 scholarship, Postman. Where did you see that info? He only signed a 1 year scholarship last season.

Looks like we have 15 full-contract players announced.
    3 scholarship players
    0 Visa spots taken
    0 on loan.

I note nothing has been said about Rory Jordan. Assume he has departed the club at the conclusion of his 2 year deal, having been on loan last season and playing the Australia cup match the year before.

Is it only 3 scholarships allowed? If so, seems we'll either be promoting Vidic to full-time or removing him from the team. If thats the case, along with the long rumoured signing of Susjnar, we'll have 6 spots left.

Wiki says 'Following an impressive debut season, the club (APIA) re-signed Jordan who mutually terminated his contract with Newcastle Jets.'

Thought I read somewhere Vidic was coming back! But I cannot find anything!

Will move him to the expired section, he hasn't been playing for the NPL team either - They are killing it btw, 9 points clear in League 2, with a goal diff of 51!

Assuming Susnjar becomes official, that's puts us at 17 players with the majority of last year's squad back.

I would be signing 2 CMs, 1 ST, 1 CAM and 2 Wide players.

One of the challenges last year was the lack of experienced on-field leaders. Some old heads. We're yet to address any of that.

Stanton needs to confer with Papas on that , He reckoned he could find Penha types at the drop of a hat.
