It wasn't disastrous.
It wasn't disastrous.
Stanton needs to be moved on. I see no way of progression with him in charge. Been in charge for over a year now & has shown zero game management at all.
When Jeggo got sent off he made zero adjustments until the 87th minute. Didn't even try and change the structure to overload them anywhere. Doesn't have a tactical bone in his body
Our game plan is incredibly boring and dull. Backwards & sideways, zero penetration and incredibly slow. Reminiscent of GVE's 2nd tenure
Jaliens gives me the horn
Well in to the suits for welcoming Con back yesterday.
About time the bloke got shown a bit more respect round these parts.
Let's hope he's back here a lot more often.
Love ya Con.
cheers,
plague.
I said the exact same thing after the Wanderers game away in Sydney last season where he got completely out coached and maneuvered. I'll give the bloke credit for having an eye for emerging talent and would certainly have him involved in putting together a list/squad but as far as coaching he has looked very ordinary.
Sydney wasted no time arranging his move to the Jets last season to make room for Driller.
Stanton got his selections all wrong yesterday l, with Rose unavailable Taylor had to start, Bayliss is one of our best attacking mids but played holding mid, Aquilina was honking
city weren't much better. WTF are our academies doing? Was like watching paint dry.

Disappointing performance overall. Should have shown more desperation in the opening minutes when we conceded.
It definitely wasn't our strongest 11 but we had no attacking threat, Stama is a huge loss to cover.
I think if Rob can't improve on his tactical awareness during games then he might be done for.
After attending many games that have featured a Jet flyover before, this one was a non event !
